Over the past six years, we have helped secured $16.5 million in grants for dozens of organizations. We have secured FEMA AFG operational SCBA grants for 30 different fire departments as well as vehicles for nine departments. FEMA also awarded four large regional SCBA grants totaling $2.3 million. Four career departments received SAFER hiring grants totaling nearly $3 million. During the last AFG grant period, two departments received a total of $170,000 for station exhaust extraction systems. There have also been numerous awards for turnout gear, hose, thermal imaging cameras, compressors, extrication equipment, and gear washers and dryers. Several departments have been awarded funding for fire safety trailers, smoke detector installation programs, CPR training, and Stop the Bleed campaigns.
